The Happy People Co is a collective, breeding happiness by connecting with the community, collaborating with fellow happy people, to create an active wear company that inspires us all.
Around here we see happiness and freedom going hand in hand. And with that freedom, we like to push the boundaries of what yoga and fitness wear should look and feel like.
Each piece has been carefully designed, tried and tested. The fabrics are soft, breathable and comfortable for all bodies of every shape and size.
Each garment is designed to wear on and off the mat. As new collections are developed and created, there are no boundaries, no confines, and in that, we find our creativity.
We don’t believe in standing still. We believe in spontaneous swims in the ocean, we think love is the greatest, we believe nature is best, and happiness is the only goal there is.
The Happy People Co want to keep you comfortable and inspired as you take your next adventure. All you have to decide is what it will be.
I’m Charlotte Grigg Hunt founder of The Happy People Co. I turned to yoga while working in the fast-paced world of global fashion. I thought yoga would be a great work out and fitness activity – it ended up being more than that. It was the mindful, stress reducing, meditative approach that connected me to a new passion of wellness and feeling the best i can be.
After eleven years of working as a fashion buyer, I embarked on a year long journey, travelling overseas to re-connect with myself and find happiness again.
When i returned, I completed a 200hr Yoga Teacher Training. I also realised I still loved fashion and what better way to connect my two passions; yoga + fashion = activewear. The brands that existed at the time, didn’t inspire my love for colour, print, and personality. That’s when The Happy People Co was brought to life.
Now a mum of two young boys, it’s my souls outlet to not just sell clothes, but to inspire happiness, confidence and self-love. A reflection of my journey of where i’ve come from, where I am now and where i’m going.
I think my happy nature shines through in The Happy People Co.
