To celebrate 213 Apparel and their new ‘Sunshine Makes the Desert’ collection, 20 of Sydney’s coolest health and wellness chicks gathered in North Bondi to experience what the brand is all about; freedom and happiness.
The guests were welcomed with big smiles from founders, Sammy Veall and Charlotte Grigg, and rehydrated on green juices before heading outside to take in the incredible view. Custom made 213 Apparel yoga mats were laid out on the balcony overlooking the turquoise waters of Bondi Beach ready for Hip Hop yoga with Sammy!
Among the guests was, wellness author, Melissa Ambrosini and self taught Sydney yogi, Caroline Groth, who both rocked the Ocean Long Beach Leggings and fashion editor for Girlfriend Mag, Nicole Lucas who looked super cute in the Python Long Beach Legging and matching Python T-Bar Crop.
Before the class, Sammy and Charlotte shared their unique story and ethos behind the brand. They believe that nature is the best medicine and sourced inspiration for the new collection from the Californian dessert and the magical land of Joshua Tree. The collection features a romantic colour palate with prints that reflect the mystic vibe of this area and the To Be Happy culture.
The bright sun above warmed our skin and the fresh sea breeze cleared our minds. As Sammy guided us through the yoga class, fun hip hop beats spun by DJ Thieves behind us filled our ears. It was a total treat for the senses and we couldn’t resist singing along and having boogie as we moved from pose to pose.
After savasana the girls filled up on a delicious healthy breakfast of avocado on sourdough, Pressed Juices and granola with berries whilst getting to know each other and taking snaps in the new 213 Apparel collection.
It was a morning filled with sunshine, the ocean, smiles and all round good vibes, proof that nature really is the best medicine… To Be Happy!
